Summer opening hours of the library, university press and library store
31. May 2023Summer is here and you are asking how it will be and will not be during summer? So now, we bring you the information about the summer opening hours of the library, university press and library store on the 4th floor.
Summer opening hours — TBU Library Zlín
- 29 MAY–9 JUN = weekdays 8.00–18.00
- 12 JUN–30 JUN = weekdays 8.00–16.00
- 3 JUL–28 JUL = only Tuesdays 8.00–17.00
- 31 JUL–1 SEPT = closed
- 4 SEPT–15 SEPT = weekdays 8.00–16.00
- after 18 SEPT = ordinary opening hours: Monday–Thursday (8.00–19.00), Friday (8.00–18.00), Saturday (9.00–14.00)
Loans and books prolonged after June 1 will have a return date September 6. Use email knihovna@utb.cz if neccessary.
You can use the the return machine for the returning the books. It is located on the right side of the ground floor of the U13 building (behind the cloakroom). The U13 building is open every day from 7 AM to 8 PM.
Extended opening hours of the 4th floor
29 MAY–30 JUN = extended opening hours will run in modified mode:
- MO–FR 18.00–22.00 (29 MAY–9 JUN)
- MO–FR 16.00–22.00 (12 JUN–30 JUN)
- SAT–SUN 8.00–18.00
Extended opening hours will not active during summer. It starts again with the beginning of new semester. Please, remember that to use the extended opening hours of the 4th floor you need to register in advance at the loan desk on the 2nd floor.

- 21 JUN–23 JUN = closed
- 3 JUL–1 SEPT = closed
