Extended opening hours of the 4th floor
You can now study, work and relax much longer on the 4th floor of our library. The 4th floor is open for you for the whole week! For access to the floor even outside the ordinary opening hours, you only need to register in advance at the loan desk on the 2nd floor.
What do you need to do to access the 4th floor?
It’s simple, it takes 3 easy steps:
- Go to the library to the loan desk on the 2nd floor.
- Fill out a simple registration form (it takes about 5 minutes).
- Mostly, everything is done the next day, for access you need only your student card.
How does it work?
Reader’s student card will be set up to allow entry to the library from the 4th floor of the east stairway of the U13 building. Patrons are forbidden to lend their student card to other people. It’s forbidden to allow other people entry into the library. Before 10PM (or 6PM during a weekend), patrons must leave the library premises using the east stairway door.

Of course, the 4th floor can also be visited during ordinary opening hours, by a standard way. Overall (ordinary + extended opening hours) is 4th floor accessible:
- MON—FRI 8AM—10PM, SAT—SUN, PUBLIC HOLIDAYS 8AM—6PM
