Christmas opening hours + lending books during Christmas

Christmas opening hours — TBU Library in Zlin
- till December 14, 2024 = ordinary opening hours (including the last Saturday, December 14th)
- December 16, 2024–December 18, 2024 = opened 8.00–18.00
- December 19, 2024–January 3, 2025 = closed
- January 6, 2025–February 7, 2025 = weekdays 8.00–18.00
- after February 10, 2025 = ordinary opening hours

Extended opening hours of the 4th floor of the library during Christmas
- till December 15, 2024 = ordinary extended opening hours
- December 16, 2024–December 18, 2024 = opened 18.00–21.00
- December 19, 2024–December 22, 2024 = opened 8.00–18.00
- December 23, 2024–January 1, 2025 = closed
- January 2, 2025–January 5, 2025 = opened 8.00–18.00
- January 6, 2025–February 9, 2025 = weekdays 18.00–21.00, weekends 8.00–18.00
- after February 10, 2025 = ordinary extended opening hours
Please remember that to use the extended opening hours of the 4th floor you must register in advance at the loan desk on the 2nd floor.
Book loans for Christmas
From December 16, 2024 it is possible to borrow books usually available only for reference studies within the library. You can borrow up to 5 books.
The due date is January 8, 2025. Be aware that there is an overdue fine 50 CZK per item per day.
You can use the the return machine for the returning the books. It is located on the right side of the ground floor of the U13 building (behind the cloakroom). The U13 building is open every day from 7 AM to 8 PM.
