Christmas opening hours + lending books during Christmas
7. December 2021We bring you the information about the opening hours of the library, university press and library store on the 4th floor and information about the lending books during Christmas.
Christmas opening hours — TBU Library in Zlin
- December 13, 2021–December 17, 2021 = weekdays 8.00–16.00
- Saturday, December 18, 2021 = closed
- December 20, 2021–January 1, 2022 = closed
- January 3, 2022–January 7, 2022 = weekdays 8.00–16.00
- Saturday, January 8, 2022 = closed
- after January 10, 2022 = opening hours according to the current situation
Extended opening hours of the 4th floor of the library during Christmas
(it applies to the days from December 13, 2021 till January 9, 2022)
- Monday–Friday = 16.00–22.00
- Saturday–Sunday = 8.00–16.00
On days when the library is completely closed (from December 20, 2021 till December 31, 2021), it will be possible to use the 4th floor from 8AM on weekdays.
Book loans for Christmas
From December 13, 2021 it is possible to borrow books usually available only for reference studies within the library. You can borrow up to 5 books.
The due date is January 5, 2022. Be aware that there is an overdue fine 50 CZK per item per day.
You can use the the return machine for the returning the books. It is located on the right side of the ground floor of the U13 building (behind the cloakroom). The U13 building is open every day from 7 AM to 8 PM.

- December 17, 2021–December 31, 2021 = closed
