Information about the library services + university press from March 11 until further notice
As you might have already known, we will close the library beginning Wednesday, March 11 until futher notice. We would like to give you some information about the library services that are available to you.
While the library is closed, we recommend you to use the electronic resources made available by the library, which are also accessible from home through the remote access service at proxy.k.utb.cz.
If I currently have books at home that will need to be returned, what should I do?
Books that you have at home that should be returned (e.g. books that are checked out till March 23), can be renewed for one month. For that, sign in to your user account via our catalogue at katalog.k.utb.cz. If that is not possible (e.g. the book has been renewed more than twice or a reservation has been put on it), books will be automatically renewed until Wednesday, April 15.

What about the overdue fines for the late return of books?
During this extraordinary period, there will not be any fines for the late return of books. The fines that accrued before this date remain.
What about the interlibrary loans?

What about the requested books?
If you have requested a book and you have received the confirmation that this book is ready for you, contact us via e-mail email@example.com or on the numbers: +420 57 603 4805 or +420 57 603 2868.
What about the extended opening hours of the 4th floor?
The extended opening hours of the 4th floor is cancelled until futher notice, so you are not allowed to enter this floor.
What about ordering prints and binding of final theses?
The print and binding of the theses will continue. You can order the print and binding of theses online using the form that you can find at: https://nakladatelstvi.k.utb.cz/vazba/objednavka.html, where you will also find all the needed information.
