Scopus Author ID
Scopus Author Identifier is assigned during the processing records of publications into the Scopus database in order to group all works of a given author into one author’s profile, regardless of the name variants mentioned in the publications.
Unlike other identifiers, the Scopus Author ID is not created by the authors themselves, but by the Scopus database. Authors can only pair the Scopus Author ID with the ORCID, or request corrections within the Scopus Author ID (a typical mistake is, for example, the creation of duplicate profiles for a single author by Scopus).
Example of Scopus Author ID: 7003328281
