Courses and Consultations
We have prepared a portal of informative education at TBU in Zlín entitled IVA. The portal comprises a number of courses in the sphere of informative education; and you can find there tutorials relevant to the Library services. Teachers may download the materials offered (textual support, infographics, presentations, videos, etc.) and use them in the classes. The entire content of the web is available under the Creative Commons licence, which facilitates its sharing, modification, as well as use for non-commercial purposes.
TBU Libary has prepared the following courses for its users within the informative education:
1st Year Students — Introductory Tour of the Library
Guided tours of the Library, information about the Library, Library services, Library catalogue, electronic information services, online Library services, communication with the Library.

Students in Their Final Year (Bachelor’s and Master’s Studies) — Preparation of Final Theses
According to individual needs we can prepare a lecture on any topic, e.g. citing documents in compliance with valid ISO 690 standard, searching through professional information resources, searching through sources of grey literature, searching through the Internet and literature search service.

Students in Doctoral Programmes — individual tuition, or small group tuition can be arranged according to the needs of students and teachers
According to individual needs we can prepare a lecture on any topic, e.g. information sources for research and development, searching through professional information resources, searching through sources of grey literature, searching through the Internet and literature search service.

Other Library Users
A tour of the Library, or a presentation of the Library, relevant database training, or any other lecture according to their needs can be organized for other Library users (e.g. University of the Third Age, Lifelong Learning, students in other years of studies, teachers), or secondary schools and libraries upon prior agreement.
